The Chicago Bulls are currently missing two players due to injuries, All-Star forward Jimmy Butler, who has a right heel contusion, and rookie Cristiano Felicio, who injured his leg.

Butler was listed as day-to-day after getting an MRI on Saturday, and was ruled out of Monday’s game against the Sacramento Kings. Felicio was expected to spend the entire week on the sidelines.

Now, the Bulls have released the status of the two players for Wednesday’s game against the Golden State Warriors.

Butler will be a game-time decision again on Wednesday, while Felicio seems to be making progress and could return earlier than expected.

The Bulls’ 112-107 victory over the Kings on Monday was their first victory without their All-Star forward this season, improving their record to 1-3 in the four games Butler has missed. Chicago point guard Michael Carter-Williams started in Butler’s place for the second game in a row and played excellent basketball. He scored 21 points on 8 of 12 shooting, while adding in four assists, six rebounds, and two steals.

The team brought their record back to .500 at 26-26, and kept their firm hold on the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.
