The Chicago Bulls lost tonight to the Atlanta Hawks 119-114, sending their record back below .500 once again.

After the game, Bulls stars Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade were absolutely furious, and went off on their teammates with similar critiques about passion and effort.

Butler complained that his teammates didn’t play with enough heart:

While Wade suggested that his teammates don’t care enough about winning:

It makes sense Wade and Butler would be so upset about a tough loss to a fellow Eastern Conference team contending for a playoff spot. The two All-Stars shot a combined 27-46 from the field while the rest of the team shot 16-48. They also combined for 73 of the Bulls 114 points, while the only other player to score in double digits was Doug McDermott with ten points.

With Wade already discussing leaving Chicago this offseason  if things don’t improve, and these searing post-game remarks from the Bulls two biggest locker room leaders, it is clear all is not well in Chicago. On top of that, both Rajon Rondo and Michael Carter-Williams have suggested they be traded before the deadline.

despite the team’s struggles, Butler is having the season of a lifetime and has proven himself to be among the NBA’s elite players. The Bulls should be making immediate changes to make sure he is as happy as possible in Chicago.
