According to the Chicago Tribune’s K.C. Johnson, the Chicago Bulls are reportedly intent on keeping center Joakim Noah on the team.

The Bulls, mindful that there is plenty of work to do to re-sign him, will engage in discussions with Noah when he becomes an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career July 1,” explained Johnson.

Noah is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this upcoming summer, but there is reportedly “strong internal desire to re-sign Noah on a short-term deal.”

The 6’11” center’s blue collar activity has always made him a fan favorite, particularly to chairman Jerry Reinsdorf, who mentions that Noah is his favorite player and ambassador.
