Drama has been dominating the Chicago Bulls locker room this week after Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade called out their teammates after the Bulls lost to the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday night.

The two All-Stars criticized their teammates for a lack of heart and for not caring enough about winning. This sparked a furious Instagram response from Bulls guard Rajon Rondo.

Now, Wade and Butler’s comments have earned them a benching for tonight’s game against the Miami Heat.

It sounds like the duo will still play, but will not be n the starting lineup as discipline. It’s not clear who will start in their place at this time.

On the other hand, Rondo is not expected to receive any punishment beyond the fines that have already been distributed to all three players. His role with the team is not expected to change.

Whether or not it is a smart move for the Bulls to bench their two best players, it certainly does not signal a return to stability for the chaotic 2016-17 Chicago Bulls.
